Sir/Madam,
We, the students of your school beg respectfully to state that our school is one of the oldest and famous in our locality. We feel proud of it for so many good reasons. But it is a matter of regret that there in no debating club in our school. You know that debating is a good opportunity to expose our latent talents. We think such a club will train up ourselves in the art of oratory. Our mental faculty and horizon of knowledge will be broad. We are keenly interested to debate with other schools of the city. We shall organize the inter-section debate competition annually also.
we, therefore, hope and believe that you would be kind enough to grant our request and to take necessary steps for it.
