Once upon a time there was a mother crocodile in a river. She had four little children. The crocodile used to collect food for her children.
One day she was searching for food. She saw that a fox was teaching some animals on the shore of the river. She hid herself behind a boat to hear the lecture of the wise fox. Being inspired by the teachings of the fox, the crocodile made up her mind. She wanted her four children to be educated.
The crocodile went to the fox one day. She requested the fox to take the responsibility of teaching all her four babies. The cunning fox gladly received the offer. It told the crocodile not to be tensed about the proper education of her children. So the crocodile left all her children with the fox and went back to the river.
The fox was in fact, a hypocrite. He was driven out from the jungle for one of his misdeeds. He used to wander near the bank of the river. Finding no food, he started eating the crabs from the river. But it was not easy to catch and eat them for him. As he was in a crisis of food, he made a plan to pretending to be a teacher. He used to eat his small students.
The small crocodiles were good to look at and healthy. So, he ate one of them and kept the other three. After some days, the crocodile come to see her children. Then the cunning fox showed her the three kids and showed one of them twice. The foolish mother crocodile thought that she saw all the four of her children and went away. The cunning fox again ate one of the kids. After some days the crocodile came and the fox again showed both of them twice. Thus, the fox ate all the kids one after another.
After a few more days, the crocodile came again. This time the cunning fox told her that they are now educated, so they don't need their mother. They are out now to explore the world.
Moral: Trust in a wrong man must bring a disaster.
