Naturally, most of the people are worshipers of natural beauty and a moonlit night is the best gift of nature. So, it is a desired night for all of us especially for the beauty seekers. It offers a splendid and charming view. In a moonlit night, the moon looks like a disc of silver that bathes the whole world with her silvery light. The sparkling stars twinkle around the moon. The entire nature itself becomes fascinated in a celestial light. The best moonlight is seen in the month of autumn. Nature looks like a dreamland. In such atmosphere, nobody can feel bad. In fact, a moon lit night has a great influence on the mind of the people of all ages. Little children can hardly think of going to bed without enjoying the night. Sometimes they play various types of games which are most enjoyable in a moon lit night. Adult people usually gossip sitting in an open place. Birds come out of their nests and fly about. A moonlit night is an important night for the poets and writers. Because, they are always inspired by nature. In every literature of the world, there are huge writings on moon and the beauty of moonlit night. In our Bengali Literature too, there are a lot of poetry and stories on moonlit night. To speak the truth, from the very boyhood, there is a close relationship between our mind and the moon. Hence such a night is enjoyable to all of us.
