The Natural Beauties of Bangladesh

Bangladesh is a country of unique natural beauties. Nature has adorned this land with highest care. To speak the truth, no other land of the world is so blessed with the natural diversities like our country. The continuous cycle of the seasons has made this country different from others.

Bangladesh is a carefree playground of nature. Sometimes, the tropical climate of the country brings abundance of sun shine and sometimes, it brings copiousness of cloud and rain. There is always the hide and seek of the light and shade. The variety of the colourful flowers, flora and fauna are really enchanting.

Bangladesh is a land of scenic beauty too. Our day starts with the deep red morning sun, a comfortable sweet sunshine and the chirping of various types of known and unknown birds around us. At noon, the evergreen greenery of the field, the spotless blue and sometimes partly clouded sky fascinates us. At afternoon, the glow of the setting sun creates a charming view.  And at night, the splendid beauty of the moonlit night makes us indifferent. The balmy flood of the moon pacifies our mind and removes all our tiredness.

Our country is called the land of six seasons. The seasons of Bangladesh regulate its economy, communication, art and culture; in fact, the entire lifestyle of the people. The life of our people evolves round these six seasons.

In every six seasons, the beauty of our country takes different shapes. During summer, the heat of the sun dries up the water bodies such as the rivers, canal and the wetlands. In rainy season, the southwest Monsoon winds bring plenty of rainfall which occasionally lasting for days. The gradual decrease of humidity makes the weather of autumn comfortable. In the late-Autumn, the contrast between the day and night temperatures results in heavy dew. In morning, the dew drops on the grass glitters with the sunshine which takes our mind away from us.

Bangladesh is also called a land of rivers. This beautiful country is criss-crossed by hundreds of rivers and canals. In fact these nice rivers are an important part of the beauty of this land. Amazingly, our country has a total number of about 700 rivers. The principal rivers of Bangladesh are the Padma, the Meghna, The Jamuna, The Brahamaputra, The Dhaleswari, the Karnafuli and so on. Besides, there are many small rivers like Buriganga, Shitalakshya, Gomati, Teesta, Atrai, Karotoa, Mohananda, Madhumati etc. These rivers have great influence on the life of the people of our country.

It is a matter to be proud that the longest sea beach of the world is situated in our country. It is Cox's Bazaar Sea Beach. It is a 155 kilometers long beach where thousands of visitors visit every year from different country of the world. Beside this, a large portion of the biggest mangrove forest of the world- Sundarban is also situated in our country.

There are many other beautiful and attractive places in country. These are Rangamati, Kaptai, Sylhet, Moinamoti, Madhobkundo, Seetakundo and so on.

No one can deny that Bangladesh is a matchless beauty spot in the world. We love our country very much. We are proud to be a son of this soil.
