Uncontrolled Price Hike across the Country 

The prices of all sorts of essential commodities have shot up within a very short time. Commodities including rice, flour, chick-peas, sugar and edible oil increased in the city markets. The prices of fish and meat are stable but the price of vegetables is on the increase. The majority of people who have meagre salaries find it difficult to make their both ends meet.

Both the local and city markets, the prices of Onion and Garlic are sky-high. Sugar, flour and rice are also being sold in the increased rate. This nonstop price hike is badly affecting the life of the low-income people. Very recently, the government has fixed the new price of diesel oil and all other types of fuel oil which is also in an increased rate. According to the market-experts the rise in the price of fuel oil is worsening the situation. In spite of the assurance of the minister of the ministry of commerce; the prices of essential commodities are increasing day by day. It is time that our government should check the causes behind the ever-increasing prices without any delay. It needs to immediately check black marketing, hoarding and profiteering and it should strictly deal with those who are found guilty. In fact, they are the enemies of society. Hence, they deserve to be tackled hard-handedly. Only then common man can be relieved from the effects of price hike.

Increasing Terrorism in Narayangonj 

Unfortunately, terrorism has increased indiscriminately in Narayangonj. The situation is worse in the Sadar Thana. To speak the truth, the Narayangonj district was a safe zone for the terrorist beforehand. But the situation is now beyond the imagination. Within the last one month, 4 people have been murdered in Narayangonj, including 1 teen-ager. All the murder was very much crucial murder. When a murder takes place in the city, the police files cases and arrest a few people to show that they are very much concerned with the condition of the city. But often they never arrest the godfathers of the terrorist. In fact the root of terrorism in Narayangonj is so strong that the police even remain fearful at operations. Last year, an assistant sub-inspector was killed by the terrorists on the broad daylight here. It is very easy to guess the life of the common people here. They are helpless against the armed terrorists. Kidnapping, snatching, eve-teasing are now daily events in the area. 

The regretful matter is that, most of the terrorist works under the shelter of different political parties of the country. Sometimes they engage in fighting among themselves. If any honest officer arrest any one of them, they get bail soon after they are sent to jail. They become more furious after returning from the jail. The government must take appropriate action against these anti-socialists and their god-fathers as early as possible.
