I received/got your letter yesterday. Accept my heartiest love. I am happy to know that you are keeping well. In your letter, you have wanted to know about my favourite football player.  Now I am writing you about it.

You know that I like football most. And my most favourite player is Lionel Messi. I like him for his unique technique to play over the ground. To be established as a world famous footballer, he had to struggle a lot. This is also a reason why I like him. At the age of five, Messi started playing football. Unfortunately, at the age of 11, he was diagnosed with a growth hormone deficiency. He did not have enough money to pay for the costly treatment. Carles Rexach, the sporting director of Barcelona, was made aware of Messi's talent. He became fascinated seeing Messi's playing capacity and signed him as a young talent in the team. The director gave him a condition that he would have to start a new life in Spain. Then his family moved to Europe and he started in the club's youth teams. The next successful carrier of Messi is known to all.

To speak the truth, I don't want to pass this free time only sitting idly. I have made up my mind that I will finish a computer course from any reputed training institute. Beside this, I want to complete an English speaking course during the time. Most probably, you are thinking that, I will be busy during the whole vacation. No, my dear friend! I have planned to visit your house soon. You know that my maternal uncle live in Chittagong. I want to go there very soon. I hope you will join me to go there. I shall come to your cottage first, and after two days we shall go to Chittagong. This is all about my plan.

You have wanted to know about my favorite sport. Here is a short description of it. The name of my favorite sport is cricket. It is very interesting and popular sport in the current world. It was first played in England in the sixteenth century. The sport is played between two teams of 11 players on a roughly circular green field. The centre of the field is a rectangular 22 yard long pitch. Each team takes it in turn to bat. The other team fields attempts to prevent the batting team scoring run. The game goes on as the bowler delivers the ball to the batsman down the length of the pitch. Each batsman is assigned to continue batting until any of the batsmen has dismissed. After dismissing all the batsmen, the other team enters into the field for batting. The team which can secure more runs wins the match at last. It is really an enjoyable sport, I believe.

At first take my cordial love. I hope you are all well in the family by the grace of Almighty Allah. The long vacation of summer has already started. Have you planned anything to pass this vacation? If not, I am inviting you to come to my village home.

 

You know that summer is the season of fruits in our country. Most of them you never have in plenty in the town. Even if these available, those are not fresh as in villages. Our area is famous for summer fruits especially Mangoes, Jackfruits and Black-berries. We have a big orchard of these fruits. If you come, you will be able to taste as much as you can. Our village stands by the river Meghna. We shall take bath in the river at noon. At afternoon, we shall walk by the river and enjoy the sweet breeze of afternoon. More interesting will be boating in the river in a moon-lit-night. I can assure you that you will feel pleasant here. My parents will be very happy to see you. Don't miss this opportunity.

Letter to Friend describing a Study Tour

At first take my cordial love. I received your letter yesterday. In your letter, you have wanted to know about our recent study tour. Now I am telling you about it.

 

You must have read about our National Memorial at Savar. The students of class Nine and Ten of our school went there to a study tour. Two of our teacher went with us as our guide. We started our journey at 10:30 am from our school premises. As it was a Friday, we reached our destination within our targeted time. I knew it beforehand that the monument is one of the unique architectural beauties of our country. But you won't believe that it is much more beautiful than its description printed in books. The natural beauty around the monument is truly fascinating. Beside this, I can assure you that the large fountain near the memorial will bewitch you. We have taken many photos in front of the fountain. We took our meal at 1:00 pm. After taking our meal, we spent another one hour visiting around the memorial. At last, we went near the graves of the martyrs. We bowed down our head before the graves with profound respect.
