Aim in Life (Pilot)

Aim means 'goal'. Aim in life refers to the ultimate goal of life. It indicates particularly the destination of our student life. A specific aim makes our life disciplined and well-planned. It is essential to fix an aim for all of us to acquire our desired position.

There is a proverb that says- "A person without an aim is like a ship without a rudder. A rudderless ship actually moves on the mercy of wind and waves. It can not reach its goal ever. Similarly, a man can not achieve success without a fixed aim. So, all of us should have our own aim in life.

To choose an aim in life is not very easy task. It is a precision work to choose an aim. Different persons have different aims. Some want to be doctors, some want to be engineers, some want to be businessman or politician etc. It varies according to one's own choice. Somebody wants power, somebody wants wealth and somebody wants honour and somebody wants an adventurous life. I prefer the later. Hence my aim in life is to be a pilot.

From an early age I have cherished a dream in my mind to be a pilot. My uncle is a pilot in the GMG airlines, Bangladesh. He always inspires me to choose this profession. My parents also encourage me regarding this profession. According to my own opinion, it is a luxurious and one of the most adventurous professions in the world. Traveling is my favourite hobby. And by the bounty of this profession, I will be able to travel in any country of the world.

I have already known it from my uncle how I will establish myself as a pilot. My uncle has helped me to know all these. Now I read in class ten in science group. After passing my SSC exam, I will admit myself into a reputed college in science as usual. I will take Math and Physics as my compulsory subjects because these two subjects are mandatory to build a career like pilot. After passing my HSC exam, first I have to pass in health examination. Because, the good health condition is a must in this profession. Then I will start training in a flying academy such as Bangladesh Flying Academy or any other private pilot training institutes in Bangladesh. My uncle will help me about this. I have to pass all the exams taken by Bangladesh civil aviation authority who will give me the license. The minimum age requirement to be a pilot is 17 years. I will reach the age immediately after passing HSC.

Recently the incidents of plane-crash in our country are increasing day by day. It is a matter of concern for the whole nation. The Biman Bangladesh Airlines is passing a hard time due to the lack of skilled pilots. I believe that such problem can be solved by recruiting new and skilled pilots. To speak the truth, most of the students do not prefer this profession as a risky one. I want to be a perfect candidate in this profession. I am preparing myself to reach that destination. As a little patriot, I have strong confidence with me that I will be able to succeed.

Our aim helps us to decide what to do, when to do and how to do in our life. It is the roadmap of our career. It is not mere a day-dream. So, we all should be very careful about choosing our aim. What is most important is that-'' Our aim should always be high but the aim of our aim should be serving the people.''
