Importance of Living in Society

 


For various reasons, ancient people were united to establish society. As social being, we need food, shelter, companions and cooperation. And we must need to help each other. All these needs can be fulfilled in only a community or society. Hence living in a society can make people good and happy citizens. If we want to live a hazard free life we must have to live within society. Such as, to prevent theft or robbery, united security measures are essential within a particular village or city area. A community may have a problem like they don’t have a primary school in the village or locality. So the people of that area need to gather and discuss the issue in a meeting and find out the solution. To establish peace and harmony in a society, often experienced, elderly people mediate between quarreling people. This is not possible without living in the society. Apart from acquiring knowledge and skills, the youths must cultivate good qualities which they can learn from the society. They have to learn from their surrounded people how to show respect towards the elder. Beside all these, a man must have to possess some humane qualities which he/she can obtain from the society he/she lives in. Great Socrates has a famous speech about it. He was rightly said, “Nobody can live alone, unless they are either angels or devils”.

How to be a Good Student

 

A good student is a valuable asset to his family, society and to his country. He/She is loved by his parents, relatives and teachers. His friends always look up to him. But becoming a good student is not an easy task. If anybody wants to be a good student, he must have to follow some rules and strategies. The first precondition to be a good student is maintaining regularity in one's study. To maintain this, he can make a daily routine to utilize his every hour. Then comes attention. It is essential to be attentive both in classroom and reading room. Sitting in the first bench can be beneficial here. Most of the students do not get the pleasure of learning because of their inattention. A student who wants to be a brilliant one; should be extrovert in nature. He should ask his teacher if he fails to understand any matter. At home or school, he should not cram any thing because cramming destroys the latent talent. He should make his own notes and revise them. If needed, he will not hesitate to take help from other mates. At home, he can take help from his elder brother, sister or his parents. Apart from text books, he should read entertaining literary books. To keep his body and mind sound, he can take regular exercise at dawn. A sound body plays an important role to work hard. All these assure a student about a glorious result. But this is to remember that, only result can not be the criterion of a good student, to be a good student out and out one has to be polite, modest, honest, truthful and sincere, all these qualities will make him/her a perfect student.

Fables are short stories with a moral or a message. Usually the main characters of a fable are animals and Greek god and goddesses. In fact, fables are not mere entertaining stories which we hear always. The only aim of these stories is to give the people pleasure. But fables are both entertaining and educative. These are composed of instruction, advice, direction and suggestion related to human life. These stories show us the right path and tell us what is wrong and what is right. Fables always clarify that the sinful man will be punished and the honest man will be rewarded sooner or later. Fables are very important in our practical life. The morals of these fables mold our character. They make us morally strong and honest. Fables enrich our mind with profound knowledge. Some fables make us clear eyed and intelligent. Some fables forbid us to do any sinful deed. Besides, there are some fables such as, one of the famous fables of Aesop named "The Ant has a moral which is considered as a proverb. To speak in a nutshell, fables entertain us well and at the same time give us necessary directions to be a perfect human being. And no doubt, these are one of the best methods for the children and students to acquire pure knowledge.
