School Magazine is a combined literary creation of the students and teachers of a school. It is published annually or periodically. In fact, School Magazine is a way through which the green ideas of the juvenile mind are expressed. Most of the schools publish their magazine once a year. It is published with a conspicuous literary title. Almost all the aspects of a school are reflected through a magazine. Both teachers and students write in it. Generally, it publishes poems, short stories, jokes, one-act play, articles and so on. It contains the photos taken on various cultural and other programmes of the school. It also contains the photos of the contemporary teachers, the members of the governing body and other important persons related to the school. The publication of such a magazine is done by the students under the guidance of the teachers. A committee is formed with the headmaster/headmistress as the chief patron. The committee invites writing on different subjects. The students, who are interested about this, submit their writings. An expert editorial board selects the writing that are worthy of printing. After proper scrutiny and correction, those are sent to the press for printing. The happiness of the students knows no bounds when they get their desired magazine in their hands. The students whose writings are printed, they feel happy and proud. They get inspiration from here. So a school magazine is very useful for the students. It helps to expose their latent talents. It also helps to uplift their power of thinking and writing. To speak the truth, a school magazine is the first stepping stone for the future writers. So every school should publish at least one magazine for giving its students this opportunity to express themselves.
