Wheel is a circular object. It is the greatest invention of human beings. To speak the truth, it is wheel which brought about a revolutionary change in the world. Wheel possesses a spacial speciality. It can rotate around its axis and thus help to move things across a surface. Wheel played the largest role to initiate the human civilization. Still, it is present in every sphere of modern life. In fact, we can not imagine our life without it. Different types of wheels are essential for fans, cars, trains, planes, wagons, farm equipments, and in mills and factories. Although the wheel is a very important invention, we know a little about its origin. According to the experts, Mesoptemians were the first to invent and use wheel. After the Mesoptemians, wheel was further improved by Egyptians. They first made wheels with spokes. In ancient India, chariots made by wheels were used for war, hunting and racing. The Greek people learnt about wheel from the Egyptians. They also made further improvements on it. But it is Romans who invented a variety of vehicles made by different types of wheels. Thus wheel has made the world easier than the ancient times.
