Human life is confined to a short span of time. In other words, our life is the summation of several hours, minutes and seconds. If we do not utilize time, time punishes us severely. Anybody can find its prove by learning history. We all know about the great lord Nepoleon. He was the owner of almost half of the whole world. He had to face a terrible defeat in water-loo's battle field. The reason was a few minutes late of one of his generals. There is a proverb in English that says-
"A stitch in time saves nine."
So, nobody should waste a single moment in vain. If a student wastes his time by idle gossiping, loitering here and there, doing other unnecessary things than study, he will have to suffer for it. One day he may realize his mistake but he has nothing to do then. It is better to use the present time than to repent later. Some students do not study all the year round and become perplexed when exams come. Hence, students should be careful about value of time. They should bear in mind that-
"An idle brain is a devil's workshop."
Time is not only a precious thing to students but also to all classes of people. It is the most valuable asset of all human being. The great men of the world have become famous as they utilized their time properly. The proper use of time has made them ever memorable in the world. To speak the truth, those who do not forget to use time, time also does not forget them.
There are many things in man's life which once lost, can be regained. Riches, wealth, fame, power, health, job all these can be regained but time once lost, never comes back. It goes on nonstop without earning anybody or anything. Hence it is called that-
"Time and tide wait for none."
It is not possible for us to control the motion of time. What we can is that we can use our present time to build a happy and prosperous future. So, we all should try our best to make the appropriate use of this great valued thing.
