Student Life

Student life is a part and parcel of our life. It is the seed time of our life. This significant part of life is dedicated for acquiring knowledge. We spend this time in schools, colleges and universities. 

The student life is disciplined and it has some limitations. The very first and foremost job of a student is to study. If a student goes to school and prepares his lesson regularly, he is sure to be successful. On the other hand, if any student neglects this time, he has to suffer. An English proverb says. 

“Time and tide wait for none.” 

Only knowledge is not sufficient. Student life is the best time to form a good character. A student should form the habit of practicing honesty, truthfulness, perseverance, sympathy, fellow-feeling, morality etc. Parents have a good role to play here. Because, a child gets the first education from them. 

Students have some duties to his family and to his society. At leisure, they can help their parents. If he has any younger brother or sister, he can help him/her to learn lesson. They should come forward to do voluntary jobs. They can stand by the helpless people.

A student should not avoid his academic study. But apart from his textbooks, he can read other books too. He can read the newspapers, biography, poetry, novels, general knowledge, articles, journals, science fiction etc. This kind of study widens a student’s mental horizon.

Student life is the golden period of life. It builds the basement of our life. So every student should utilize this precious time.
