Sir,

We, the inhabitants of Muksudpur Upazilla would like to draw your kind attention about the recent flood that has attacked our area. This devastating flood has broken all the records of the past. Thousands of people have become homeless, food less and entirely helpless. Most of the people have taken shelter on the roofs of primary schools, boats and embankments. They are now passing their days under the open sky. The miseries of the flood affected people know no bounds. Their crops have greatly damaged. The most pathetic matter is that water born diseases like cholera, diarrhea, dysentery, typhoid etc. have started to break out in many areas. If these people do not get foods, drinking water, clothes and medicine, an epidemic may appear very soon.

 

Considering the situation, we hope that you would be kind enough to send adequate relief goods and at least two medical teams for the affected people as early as possible.
