Subject: Application for setting up a literary club.

Dear Madam,

We, the students of your school respectfully beg to state that we are keen to organize a literary club in our school. It is a matter of pride that we read in one of the best institutions of the city. We are enjoying almost all the modern facilities here. But we have no literary club in the school. During the tiffin period most student pass their time loitering here and there. If there had been a literary club in the school, we would have got opportunity to utilize our valuable time by reading literary books written by famous writers. It will increase our knowledge about literature and enhance our creativity. Literary discussion will widen the domain of our thought.

 

We, there fore, pray and hope that you would be gracious enough to set up a literary club in the school campus considering our proposal with sympathy.
