The spring comes after winter. The sweet smell of flowers and the sweet twittering of birds make us known about the advent of spring. The season consists of two Benglali months- Falgun and chaitra. It is called the king of all seasons.
There are several reasons why I like the spring most undoubtedly Bangladesh is the darling child of nature. Spring is the richest in colour, beauty, variety and fragrance. The summer is a season gasp for breath in this season. During the rainy season, the roads become muddy and there is water everywhere. We can not move easily and feel discomfort. Autumn and late autumn are nearly peaceful but not so attractive. Winter is some what troublesome. In this season, people shiver in cold and there is dense fog every where. On the other hand, spring has none of these disadvantages. We become enchanted with the beauty of spring after winter.
At the advent of spring nature awake with a lovely and lively appearance. The spring adornes the nature with unique beauty. The nature finds its youth and every object of nature becomes fresh. New leaves are seen in trees. Everywhere there is colourful flowers and their variety fascinate us. Flowers attract Bees and Butterflies. Bees are seen humming and flying from flowers to flowers in search o honey. Mango, Jack-fruit, Black-berry, lichi have buds on then in this season.
The spring is rich in crops. During this season in our country vegetables grow in plenty. In our rural Bangladesh farmers sow jute and paddy seeds in their fields So the spring in also called harvesting season.
This season has a great influence on the minds of the people. The beauty of this season makes our mind sinless and cheerful. The sky usually remains blue and clear. A gentle breeze blows from the south. It spreads the sweet smell of flowers and makes the air balmy. There is green and green everywhere. Birds sing prom behind the new leaves. The sweet note of the cuckoo makes our mind jolly. The mind of the poets vibrates and they get inspiration from the nature to write poems. The season is an appropriate for creating literature. In the repertory of Bengali literature, there are huge writings on the beauty of spring. \
During spring nature wears a festive look. It is the season of joy and merriment for the villagers. The people of all ages enjoy its beauty with a cheerful mind. There are fairs in villages various types of cultural programmes are arranged there like Jatra gan, Jari gan, Pala gan etc. City people also welcome the spring by arranging “Basanto Baran Utsob.” Often concerts of folk music are arranged.
Spring in the most beautiful and most decorated of all seasons. Our poets have praised this season for its attractive sounds and sights. I love this season most.
