Dear Sir,

Most humbly and respectfully I would like to draw your kind attention about the recent flood of our area. Unfortunately, our locality has been seriously affected by the recent flood. The flood affected people are living most pitiable lives for want of food, drinking water and medicine. Thousands of people are now homeless. They are passing their day without enough food. Children and the old peoples are the worst sufferers of the flood. Probably you have read the reports about the flood-victims in the national dailies. The victims are mourning for food and shelter. In this situation, they are badly in need of some relief. 

I, therefore, hope that your honour would be kind enough to grant some relief for the people for this locality.
