Once there was a hunter. He lived in a village. He had a dog. It was very faithful and dutiful. The dog was ready to sacrifice its life for the sake of his master.
One day, the hunter went to the city with his wife. He left his little son at home. The master repeatedly told his pet to look after his little son. The house of the hunter was near to a jungle. Sometimes, various animals from the jungle attacked the house. So the hunter made a strong fence around the house. There was a large door on the fence. Unfortunately the hunter forgot to lock the door on the day. A cunning wolf came near to the house and noticed that. It entered into the house instantly targeted the baby. The dog was looking after the baby and it was very alert. The dog fought with the wolf to save his master’s son and killed it. In the evening, the hunter and his wife returned from the city. The dog was waiting outside for its master. When it saw its master, he licked its feet. The hunter saw the stains of blood on the dog's mouth. He thought that the dog had killed his son. He became very angry. He used to keep a gun with him always. He killed the dog with his gun.
When he entered into his house, he found his son safe. His son was sleeping inside the house and the wolf was lying dead near him. At this, the hunter became very much shocked.
Haste makes waste.
