To put on a play is a matters of great pleasure and excitement too. A successful play is enjoyable to the audience. But putting on a play successfully is not very easy. First of all, we have to select a play which will be staged. The number of characters and the length of the play should not be very big. Next comes the distribution of characters who will act on which character. Arranging these properly, we must have to build a stage. While building the stage, we should bear in mind that the stage will be built according to the scene of the play. If the events of the play happen in town, the stage can be decorated well. But if the events of the play happen in village the stage must be simple. The stage can be built in an open place or in the school ground. Before staging the play, the actors and actress should make rehearsal. At this, they will be able to act well on the stage and their act will be spontaneous.
