Once upon a time there was a lazy barber in a village called Robi. He was very poor and lived from hand to mouth. He had no interest in hardworking or earning. However, his wife wouldn't tolerate this. Often she used to scorn him.
One morning, Robi’s wife pushed him out of their home and beat him with a thick stick. Robi decided that he would leave his house for good. He walked through the big forest near his village. He walked and walked.
Soon he became tired and sat under a big tree. There lived a ghost on the tree. It was a dead thief’s ghost. The ghost was very greedy, he told Robi to give him all his money. Robi said that he had no money, but in his bag, he had some ghosts he caught yesterday.
At first, the ghost didn't believe him. It told Robi to show him ghosts. Though the barber was a lazy man but he was cunning enough to befool the ghost. He took out his mirror out of his bag and held it up. The ghost took the mirror and saw the reflection of his own face in it and thought the face as another ghost.
Robi told he would catch the ghost and put him with the others in his big. The ghost was frightened. He begged him not to put him in the bag. Robi asked, 'What would be my profit here? Putting you in the bag is my only option. The ghost then promised that he would give Robi a big amount of money.
The ghost went away at once. It came back with a big sack full of money and gave it to the barber. The barber went straight home. His wife was quite surprised to see her husband of late night. Robi showed her the sack full of money.
Robi became rich overnight. There was no more quarrel between he and her wife. They started a new and happy life.
