Human life is like a momentary bubble which bursts within a very short time. In this short span of time, we come across numerous events. Most of these events are not equally important and usually forget them in the passage of time. But there are few events in every life which remain imprinted on our mind. The most memorable even of my life is to save a life from a fire accident. I can still visualize the night. I went to bed at 11 p.m. About 2 a.m. I was awakened by extreme short and tumultuous noise in the neighbourhood. I rushed and saw the whole area ablaze. It was a horrible sight. I was perplexed by the situation. Suddenly I heard a crying from one of the houses that was on fire. I at once understood that there must be someone in the house. As a responsible member of Rover scout, I knew what to do in such situation. I made up my mind to enter the burning house. I soaked a thick cotton quilt and ran into the house. There was a baby boy who was running to and fro. However, I became successful to rescue the baby boy. Though I was injured, but I became happy to save a life. I was praised by all highly. I think, I will never forget the day. It is an evocative event of my life. Still I feel good when I recall this memorable event.
